Our focus is to promote eventing in New Mexico by organizing and hosting educational events that bring together eventing enthusiasts of all levels.
Maintaining the Boca Negra Horseman's Complex
We are dedicated to maintaining New Mexico's only public cross country course. All permit fees go directly into course maintenance and improvements.
Training Opportunities
We work to promote affordable schooling and training opportunities in the form of clinics and schooling shows
Improvements to the facilities at Boca Negra
NMEA recently installed 12 12'x10' stalls at Boca Negra. We will be working on improving the footing in the arenas in the spring of 2025.
Improvements to the XC Course
NMEA has been hard at work renovating existing jumps and bringing in new ones. All permit fees go back into course maintenance and improvements
